Annotatsiya
Abstract. This article explores the multifaceted impact of socialnetworks on the English language learning process. With the widespreadintegration of digital platforms into daily life, social media has becomean increasingly prominent, albeit complex, tool for language acquisition. The study investigates how these platforms offer learners unprecedentedopportunities for exposure to authentic language, interactivecommunication, and access to diverse educational resources. However, italso addresses potential drawbacks such as distractions, the spread ofinformal language, and the risk of superficial engagement. Ultimately,the paper emphasizes the importance of strategic and critical utilizationof social networks to maximize their benefits in English languageeducation.
