Annotatsiya
Abstract: The development of listening skills in primary schoolchildren is a crucial component of language acquisition and overallacademic success. Listening is not only a fundamental communicationskill but also a foundation for reading comprehension, vocabularyexpansion, and cognitive development. This article examines effectivestrategies and methodologies for enhancing listening abilities amongyoung learners in primary education. It explores the role of interactiveactivities, multimedia resources, and teacher-led exercises in promotingattentive and critical listening. Additionally, the study emphasizes theimportance of creating a supportive classroom environment thatencourages active participation and fosters motivation. By integratingstructured listening programs with engaging content, educators cansignificantly improve pupils’ auditory comprehension, concentration, andoverall communicative competence. The findings suggest that earlyintervention in listening skill development contributes to betteracademic performance and lifelong learning abilities
