Annotatsiya
Abstract: This article looks at how coherence and cohesion canimprove academic writing, not only in terms of grammar but also inorganizing ideas clearly. It describes coherence as the logical flow of ideasin a text, while cohesion is explained as the use of linking words,pronouns, and other devices that connect sentences and paragraphs. Thepaper also discusses common problems faced by Uzbek students, such asweak organization, incorrect use of connectors, and lack of clear unity intheir writing. In addition, it suggests some practical ways to developthese skills, including better paragraph planning and using appropriatelinking expressions. Overall, the study shows that understandingcoherence and cohesion helps students write more clearly and effectivelyin academic contexts.
