Annotation. The modernization of education and the rapid expansion of global communication have significantly increased the demand for effective foreign language teaching. In the contemporary educational environment, knowledge of foreign languages has become an essential component of professional and academic development. However, traditional methods of language instruction often fail to ensure the development of communicative competence and critical thinking skills among students. This article explores the role of innovative teaching methods in improving the effectiveness of foreign language education. The study analyzes modern pedagogical approaches such as communicative language teaching, task‑based learning, project‑based learning, digital technologies, and interactive classroom strategies. Special attention is given to student‑centered learning environments that promote active participation, collaboration, and autonomy in language acquisition. The article also examines the impact of technological tools, including online platforms, mobile applications, and multimedia resources, on language learning outcomes. The research concludes that the integration of innovative pedagogical strategies and modern technologies significantly enhances the effectiveness of foreign language instruction and contributes to the development of communicative competence, learner motivation, and intercultural awareness.
