Annotatsiya
Abstract: This thesis examines the moralissues of Valentin Rasputin's prose as a crucial component of his artistic world. Primary attention is paid to understanding the individual's moral choices, the role ofhistorical memory, and the value orientations that shape the characters' inner worlds. It is shown that the contradiction between thetraditional way of life and historical changebecomes a source of moral tension in the writer's works. It is concluded that Rasputin's addressingmoral questions imbues his prose with a universal humanistic resonance.
