Annotatsiya
This paper presents the results of a field experiment examining the effects of different seeding rates on the growth, development, and plant density of the Utkir winter soft wheat variety. The study was conducted at seeding rates of 3, 4, 4.5 (control), 5, and 6 million viable seeds per hectare (129–258 kg/ha).It was found that the optimal seeding rate contributed to increased plant density in both autumn and spring. The highest number of overwintering plants was observed at seeding rates of 5 and 6 million seeds/ha. The maximum yield (64.7 c/ha) was obtained at a seeding rate of 5 million seeds/ha (215 kg/ha). According to growth performance analysis, the highest average plant height (45.2 cm) was recorded at a seeding rate of 5 million seeds/ha. In general, it has been established that the optimal planting density and the most favorable growth conditions are formed at a rate of 5 million viable seeds per hectare, which is recommended for the cultivation of the Utkir variety in these soil and climatic conditions.
