Annotatsiya
Improving rice breeding in the northern regions in the conditions of climate change and water shortage is one of the urgent issues. The study provided a comparative assessment of the economically valuable traits of the samples studied in the collection nursery in the conditions of Karakalpakstan. The results were compared with the standard variety Gulistan. The sample D-294(D-120)(D-30) showed superiority in terms of productivity per plant (10.2 g), while the combination of D-180, D-289, D-182 showed superiority in terms of the number of grains per panicle (96 grains) and rice transparency (90%). It was found that some genotypes have higher yield components than the standard variety and were recommended for the next stage of selection trials.
