Annotatsiya
This article analyzes the phenomenon of barbarization of English in the context of modern globalization. It examines how international-intercultural interaction, digital communication, and the expansion of English as a global lingua franca have led to the emergence of new linguistic forms and the weakening of traditional norms. The study analyzes the linguistic, sociocultural, and pedagogical aspects of this process, exploring the balance between innovation and language stability. Drawing on examples from social media, education, and global communication, the article argues that barbarization is not a sign of language decline, but rather a sign of the dynamic development of language in the era of globalization. The results of the study indicate the need for a conscious approach to teaching and policy development that ensures the acceptance of diversity in global English while maintaining a clear understanding of the language.
