Annotatsiya
The thesis analyzes the problem loans in commercial banks and the role of credit policy in their elimination on a scientific basis. The thesis emphasizes credit policy as a decisive factor in the effective allocation of bank resources, risk assessment and prevention of the occurrence of problem loans. Based on the experiences of the USA, Europe, Japan, Germany, Switzerland and Singapore, the impact of the combination of credit policy with monetary policy on the inflation rate, economic stability and the value of the national currency is substantiated. The intrinsic relationship between deposit policy and credit policy is also shown, and its importance in ensuring bank liquidity and reducing problem loans is revealed.
